What a jolly bee, our friend Biplop. With three stories, the author writes about a bee who is happy and truly concerned about the beings around him, especially the stunning flowers in the garden he lives in and farmer Balram who grows them in his land.
The first story is about Biplob realizing his purpose in life, that is, helping other flowers pollinate and thus, reproduce. The second story is how our dear friend Biplob helps the farmer in times of crisis and the third is his hard work in bringing the flowers to life.
Each story has so much to teach. They aren’t moral lessons but science that teaches us the very basics of how the environment actually works. The author has defined each term that might seem foreign to a child with clear, precise words.
The illustrations are bright and beautifully done. One might not need to read the story at all and still grasp the story the author wants to tell. Biplob the Bumblebee gives out happy vibes with its vibrant illustrations and the cheerful Biplob and I would definitely recommend it. If you have kids at home, this book is a great bedtime story.
