Summer holidays was something I would look forward to as a child because that would mean vacation time. ‘The Puffin Book of Holiday Stories’ is a collection of stories themes around holiday by notable authors like Ruskin Bond, Himanjali Sarkar, Khyrunnisa A., Sudha Murty and many more.

Each of these stories takes us to beautiful destinations and are full of adventure, drama and life lessons. Be it the jungles or the beaches. these stories cover it all. The writing style of each story is distinct to the author and that is another way to diversify a collection.

This book is perfect for kids who like reading short stories and go on adventures through words. For teenagers and adults, the writing might be a bit too simple for their liking.

The stories have a perfect balance between fun and lessons and that is the highlight of this collection. I would definitely recommend this collection to kids who love reading more than everything.
