What has a sexy, bad-ass veteran hero…
A feisty and independent heroine who won’t hesitate to stand up for herself…
A forbidden, best friend’s younger sister conflict…
And a forced-proximity roommates-to-lovers situation that creates all kinds of sexual tension?

Billy and Shay always had a crush on each other. Well, Billy is certainly very handsome (and he can cook), and Shay has all the right curves. Bonus, she is hilarious. So, years after, when they end up as roommates, Billy finds himself opening up to Shay, and Shay can’t stop drooling because she just found the man of her dreams.
Laura Kaye writes great love stories and this was one too. While it lacked drama, I am glad that the author focused on details other than their love story. The fight club scenes were really intense and I loved the characters.
The story is quite predictable, but the writing prevented me from skimming through the book. I enjoyed Shay more than Billy, because she is a very laid back person, passionate about her work, and is the best roommate.
Fighting for What’s His is a bittersweet love story with a lot of denial and a lot of beautiful moments.

Seems to be an interesting book. I am not an avid reader, but some of the books you recently reviewed seem exciting. Thanks
