This is a wonderful and diverse collection of stories and I had a great time reading all of them. Here are my thoughts on each one.
Unique: 100-word story with a beginning, a middle and an end- 5/5 stars
Who Killed the Mayor?: Hilarious, great ending- 3.5/5 stars
View of Auvers-Sur-Oise: Smart, satisfying- 3.5/5 stars
A Gentleman and a Scholar: Based on Love for literature- 3/5 stars
All’s Fair in Love and War: oddly satisfying, fair game- 3.5/5 stars
The Car Park Attendant: Clever plot as well as characters- 3.5/5 stars
A Wasted Hour: A Favourite, loved it from beginning until the end- 5/5 stars
The Road to Damascus: Another favorite, heartbreaking- 4.5/5 stars
The Cuckold: keeps you guessing, talks about love and betrayal- 4/5 stars
Holiday of a Lifetime: Smart, Loved the ending labeled B, other two weren’t dramatic enough- 4/5
Double or Quits: Gripping, ending could have been better- 3/5 stars
The Senior Vice President: Longest story in the book, entertaining story about the art of deception- 4.5/5
A Good Toss to Lose: Emotional, brave and mildly devastating- 4/5 stars
The Perfect Murder: 100-word story with a beginning, a middle and an end- 5/5 stars
The stories are all different, each highlighting different themes and emotions. The writing style is lucid and kept me hooked.
I would recommend this book to the lovers of short, thrillers.
